Pathways to Persistence Scholar, Hayley Johnson, selected to attend Leadership Summit

Ms. Hayley Johnson, a student in the Pathways to Persistence Scholars Program, has been invited to attend the first annual Young Women's Leadership Summit in Chicago, Ill. from June 14-18 sponsored by Turning Point USA. She completed an application process, which included responses to short answer questions and a phone interview. In addition to being invited to attend, Hayley received a scholarship from Turning point USA that will pay for her accommodations, admission and travel.
The purpose of the Summit is to educate and motivate women to become effective activists in their schools and communities. Through her attendance, Hayley hopes to learn from guest speakers and experienced activists on how she can inspire positive change to help her community.
