March 17, 2015

Three Santa Fe College students (Joshua Gomez, Craig Jerome and Jessica Crews) from the Perry Center for Emerging Technologies kicked off their spring break representing our college at the Florida-wide Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) held at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach on Feb. 27-28. The students presented the results of their research in biotechnology. Their trip was sponsored by SFC Research in Undergraduate Education (RUE) and Student Life and they were accompanied by their faculty mentor, Ale Maruniak. Congratulations!
