Retirement Reception for Tim Nesler Dec. 16

Please make plans to attend the upcoming retirement celebration for Tim Nesler, who has served Santa Fe College for 45 years. Starting as a part-time draftsman in the Applied Engineering Department in 1969, Tim advanced to full-time employment in August of 1972 as a paraprofessional in Academic Affairs. In 1978, Tim became involved in computer programming and from then until now has served the college in the Information Technology Services (ITS) area. Over the span of four decades, Tim has worked as a computer programmer, senior computer programmer, programmer analyst, systems coordinator, senior systems coordinator, systems programmer, ITS director, and ITS associate vice president and chief information officer (CIO). He has amassed a long and distinguished record of technical and administrative contributions over the years, as well as a treasure trove of stories illuminating the college's colorful history.

The reception will be held in the President's Lobby from 2 – 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16. Please join us in honoring Tim in his retirement.
