Student Life Art Gallery and SF Artists Guild host Paint Out Oct. 24

The Student Life Art Gallery and the SF Artists Guild will be hosting a Paint Out
on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, form 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Oak Grove. Everyone is invited
to come out and make art! Completed works will have the chance to be on display in
the Student Life Art Gallery for the first Spring Exhibit (2015). The goals of this
event are to encourage students to explore self-expression through art-making and
provide those who may not have taken an art theory or art practice class with an opportunity
to create their own art work.
Student Life and the SF Artists' Guild will have some art supplies available for use
at the event(i.e. large sketch pads and paper, canvas boards, cardboard, acrylic paint,
oils, pastels, pencils, watercolors & paper, easels, etc). Anyone interested in participating
is encouraged to bring their own supplies too.
Free and open to students of all skill levels and all artistic styles. For more information,
