Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints played their best game of the season against St. John's River State College, but fell to the Vikings on a ninth inning walk off homerun, 2-1.

The Saints (23-18, 11-11 MFC) trailed 1-0 heading into the top of the ninth, and with their season hanging George Ragsdale delivered a two out, RBI single to knot the game up at 1-1.

In the bottom half of the ninth St. John's wasted no time as the first batter of the inning, Shawn Sanders hit a solo homerun to win the game.

Brady Price was stellar on the mound for SF, tossing eight plus innings, allowing just three hits.  Santa Fe outhit the Vikings 9-3 but couldn't come up with the timely hits early in the game to pull away.

Santa Fe now trailed Seminole State by two games for third place in the Mid-Florida Conference standings.  The Saints must win their two remaining games and the Raiders must lose both for SF to qualify for the post season.
