New cybersecurity programs funded by National Science Foundation
April 23, 2014
The Network Systems Technology (NST) program has several new courses being developed under an Advanced Technical Education (ATE) grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
The NSF ATE grant provides Santa Fe College with funding to support faculty in developing the new courses and in obtaining professional development needed to teach the new curriculum. In addition, the project will focus on expanding the diversity of our student population through the recruitment of more female students and development of articulation programs with local high schools and career and technical training centers.
The new courses have enabled SF to add three new college credit certificates and two A.S. degree tracks in the NST program.
A.S. Degree Networking Systems Technologies (63 credit hours)
- Network Administration Track (AS3650)
- Network Infrastructure Track (AS3651)
- Cybersecurity Track (AS3652)
- Digital Forensics Track (AS3653)
