Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints built a 4-0 lead after the second inning, but 22 unanswered runs by the Central Florida Patriots, including a seven run sixth and an 11 run seventh were more than enough to propel CF past Santa Fe 22-4.

SF (20-15, 8-8 MFC) scored all four runs in the second on five hits, including a two run double from Chipper Andzel.  That's all the offense the Saints would muster however and the Patriots opened the flood gates later in the game for the Mid-Florida Conference win.

Central Florida outhit Santa Fe 28-9 and had seven players' record three hits or more.

Casey Scoggins, George Ragsdale, and Colby Lusignan had two hits apiece for Santa Fe.

The Saints and Patriots will get back after it on Friday in Ocala.  First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 PM. Fans can listen live on www.floridacast.com.
