Healthcare forum for African-American males April 17

Santa Fe College has a shortage of African American men in Health Sciences training programs that lead to careers with outstanding salaries, employability, and opportunities for advancement.
On Thursday, April 17 from 6:30-8 p.m. there will be a forum of African American Healthcare Professionals and Students to Discuss the Successful Path for Highly Rewarding Healthcare Careers. This forum continues a community dialogue to clarify the immense value of these careers. The forum will feature a panel of male African American healthcare professionals and current program students will discuss their insightful and inspirational stories on the road to academic and professional success.
The following programs will be represented: Cardiovascular Technology, Dental (Hygiene & Assisting), Nuclear Medicine Technology, Nursing (RN, LPN, Assistive), Radiography, Respiratory Care and Surgical Technology.
The forum will be held at Mt. Caramel Baptist Church (2505 NE 8 Avenue, Gainesville, Fl.) and is open to the public.
