Mid-Year Alternative Break Trip Applications Now Open

Travel to St. Augustine with the Office of Civic Engagement and Service to assist with beach clean-up and research projects at the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve, take a trolley tour of St. Augustine and walking tour of historic Flagler College.

Dorm-style lodging provided by Casa Yallaha, a hostel located in downtown St. Augustine. Participants must be prepared to work in and near the water in cold temperatures. This activity is open to SF College students with a minimum 2.0 SF College cumulative grade point average and who are enrolled in a minimum of three (3) credit hours during the Fall 2013 semester. In the event a participant cancels after being accepted and completing travel paperwork for this trip, a fee of $50 will be charged to the student's account.

Applications are due by 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, 11/20. Confirmed applicants will be notified at the email provided by, noon, Thursday, 11/21, and must complete required travel paperwork with Kimberly Buchholz, S137, or Terri Osoba, S145, by noon, Monday, 11/25. Confirmed applicants who do not complete the required travel paperwork by the deadline will forfeit their place on the trip.
