SF Zoo Honors Veterans with Free Admission

The college will be closed in observance of Veteran's Day on Monday Nov. 11 but the SF Teaching Zoo will be OPEN and celebrating area Veterans with FREE ADMISSION to the Zoo. In order to receive FREE ADMISSION, Veterans who are active, retired and/or are military personnel must show valid military identification.

The Zoo showcases a diverse collection of native and exotic species for everyone to enjoy. Take your time and enjoy animals like the bald eagles, white-throated capuchin monkeys, and the Asian small-clawed otters, all under the naturally shaded 1Ž4 mile trail.

The Zoo is open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for Adults (13-59); $4.00 for Children (4-12), seniors (60+), UF students and staff; FREE for Children (3 and under), SF students and staff with valid ID.
