"Trashy" Students needed for Waste Audit Day
Oct. 22, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Parking Lot 7
(Volunteers needed 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
Interested in helping the College understand what we could better reuse and recycle in an effort to reduce what we throw away each day? Lend a hand at Waste Audit Day 2013 by helping to sort a sampling of trash Tuesday, Oct. 22, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., in Parking Lot 7 (north of D Building).

Guided by Alachua County Waste Alternatives, this event will also feature an Art Studio lead by The RePurpose Project, with participants encouraged to submit works created from materials pulled from the trash. Waste Audit Art Exhibit will take place in the Santa Fe Gallery (M Building) Oct. 28 through Nov. 1.
To make this event successful, trash sorters are needed! Volunteers sorting trash for a minimum of two hours will be invited to a volunteer reception on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 3-5 p.m., where the results of the audit will be share before heading to an Art Exhibit Reception at the Santa Fe Gallery 5-7 p.m.
Art show Reception and Exhibit are free and open to the public. Reception hors d'oeuvres and drinks provided by the Santa Fe Gallery.
