Title III Math Redesign at Santa Fe Presents John Squires Sept. 20

On Friday, Sept. 20 at 12:30 p.m. in E-Auditorium, professor John Squires will give an overview of course redesign methods across several disciplines, best practices, and how to initiate a redesign. Our goal is for you take away something that will be relevant and useful to your department. Light Refreshments will be served. This event is partially funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

John Squires is the head of the mathematics department at Chattanooga State Community College in Chattanooga, TN. He is also the director of U Do The Math and a nationally recognized leader in course redesign. He was a League for Innovation Cross Scholar in 2010 and author of the paper 'Changing the Educational Landscape: The Total Impact of Course Redesign'. He has worked with colleges and universities around the nation, in math and other areas as well.
