Thrift Store Volunteer Opportunity

Children’s Home Society of Florida is seeking dedicated, stylish, thriftin’ awesome
students to actively participate in service learning at the Family Treasures Thrift
Store, 710 N. Main Street (within a short walk of RTS#1,5,10). Volunteers gain valuable
experience in sales, fashion merchandising and styling, marketing and public relations,
retail, customer service, non-profit business management, and item inventory and organization
in a unique non-profit program setting. Responsibilities of Thrift Store Volunteers include
but are not limited to: fulfillment of child and family needs; development and implementation
of marketing and advertising strategies; donation acceptance and processing; store
organization; stock and inventory; and, preparation of pleasant, unique, and extraordinary
