"Found" Majors Summer Series for Advisors and Counselors June 26
June 11, 2013
Advisors and counselors from all areas are invited to the "Found" Majors Summer Series to hear from University of Florida and Santa Fe College program advisors as they share transfer requirements and benefits of unique and exciting "found" majors.
Some great majors and degree programs can go unnoticed by students. These less-known, or "found," majors often have less competitive transfer requirements than limited access programs, offer interesting courses, connect directly with highly employable careers and provide an excellent path to the educational goals of some students. Once "found," they hold great potential to provide career, scholarship and extracurricular options for SF students, so let's get informed together and help students "find" them!
The second event in the series is 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 26 in S-326/327. There is no RSVP necessary.
The series is co-sponsored by Julie Crosby, coordinator of the UF@SF Center, and Dr. Kim Fugate-Roberts, director of the SF Academic Advisement Center, Counseling and Career Resources.
