Help Adult Education Win $25,000 - Last Day to Vote
April 22, 2013
Monday, April 22 is the final day to help the Santa Fe College Adult Education program win a $25,000 grant from the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Program. Winning this grant will help students with GED scholarships, adult education course fees and other expenses necessary for future success.
The SF Adult Education and GED students either don't have a high school diploma or are new to the United States and need to improve their English skills. Because of this, many are unemployed. They are working hard to transition into courses at SF to get a degree or certificate and improve the chances of success for themselves and their families.
If you have a Facebook account, please visit www.state-assist.com/cause/2812/adult-education-leaders and look for "The Adult Education Leaders Project." You can vote up to 10 times a day all at once. If you don't have a Facebook account, pass this on. The top 40 projects win $25,000. Thank you!
