Dr. Dan Rodkin Selected as Next Associate Vice President of Student Affairs

Dear colleagues,

It is my pleasure to announce that Dr. Dan Rodkin has been selected to serve as the next Associate Vice President of Student Affairs. Dr. Rodkin, who has served as the Director of Student Life for the past 5.5 years, received his Ed.D. in higher education administration from the University of Florida and his M.Ed. in student affairs from the University of South Carolina. He has been actively involved in various college-wide initiatives at SF, including the Resource & Planning Council (RPC) and the QEP Steering Committee. Additionally, Dr. Rodkin served as the principal author for the student affairs components of the SACS report. He is also the current president of the Florida Community Colleges Activities Association and serves as the community college division chair for NASPA-FL. Dr. Rodkin will officially begin his new position on Monday, Feb. 18. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Dan Rodkin to his new AVP position.
