Road Closure May Impact Travel to SF

GRU waste water construction will be doing some utility work on NW 23 Avenue at NW 55 Street, Saturday, Oct. 27, starting at 6 a.m. through Sunday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. The work will require closing NW 55 Street both north and south of the NW 23 Avenue intersection. On NW 23 Avenue, eastbound traffic will be re-routed into the left turn lane and westbound traffic will remain in its lane. No turning traffic from NW 23 Avenue onto NW 55 Street will be allowed during this utility work. Reduced work zone speeds will also be in effect on NW 23 Avenue through Sunday evening.

All thru traffic from Newberry Road to NW 23 Avenue should use either NW 43 Street or Ft. Clarke Blvd. If you have any questions, please contact Barbara Misener at 352-393-1613.
