SF Students and Area High School Teachers Participated in Workshops at Perry Center

The Santa Fe College Perry Center for Emerging Technologies in collaboration with the Employ Florida Banner Center offered two free workshops entitled Protein Purification and Characterization, and Cell Culture Methods on Saturday, Oct. 13 and Sunday, Oct. 14. The workshop provided lecture material, oral presentations and hands on lab experience for participants, as well as a Banner Center Certificate that is recognized by Industry. SF students and high school teachers that participated in these workshops learned important information about Industry and Research standards of quality control and quality assessments and gained experience in various laboratory techniques.
