Sustainable Santa Fe Meets Oct. 19

The full Sustainable Santa Fe (SSF) committee will meet at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in P-266.

Also, listed below are events next week celebrating Campus Sustainability Day at Santa Fe. Please join in these activities where possible.

Thursday, October 25

  • Recycling/Waste Tabling Event at the Blount Center 10 a.m. – noon
    SSF, Alachua County Waste Alternatives, and Keep Alachua County Beautiful will be tabling.
  • SF Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Regiani Zacharias will be presenting on "The Greening of Brazil" at noon at the Blount Center, room DC 001. A light luncheon will be served.
  • Global Roundtable: "How do we balance wealth building and moral responsibility?" at 2 p.m. in S-329.
    Facilitated by Daniel Freed, Saints for Sustainability.

Tuesday, October 30

  • Tabling Event in Oak Grove 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
    SSF will have a table to discuss our committee and the upcoming Terra Blight screening event. Other local community organizations will be tabling to showcase green and sustainable products and services in our community.
