Integrity in Online Assessment
July 10, 2012 – 2 p.m.-3 p.m.
How can we assess student learning while maintaining the rigor and integrity of the course? Rather than being discouraged by this possible conundrum, instructors can choose to view the topic from a different angle. It is more promising to focus on assessment design that provides an accurate picture of how well students can apply the material. Toni Marie Burkhalter will discuss how using carefully designed assessments can encourage students to produce their own unique work while engaging in meaningful learning.
