First Bachelor's Degree Graduation Held for Early Childhood Education

The celebration for the first graduates of the Early Childhood Education Bachelor of Science degree program was held last week. It was well attended by family and friends of the graduates, program leadership, faculty and staff. Dr. Tyran Butler, Director of Education Programs at SF College welcomed the guests.

Ms. Anne Crowell, Director of Head Start and Family Services provided a brief and interesting overview of the historical development of the program. She emphasized the critical role of Santa Fe College in the process as well as the collaborative spirit and professionalism demonstrated by many college personnel involved in the degree development process.

Dr. Curtis Jefferson gave congratulatory comments and well wishes on behalf of Dr. Sasser, SF College President. Attached is a picture of the graduates with the Early Childhood Education faculty.
