Congratulations Apprentice Grads
June 5, 2012
On May 17, in Santa Fe's Fine Arts Hall, 15 apprentices graduated from the Apprenticeship program sponsored by the Builders Association of North Central Florida (BANCF). Over the past four years, these students have worked full time in the trade for local contractors and attended class two nights a week at the Charles R. Perry Construction Institute.
This fantastic partnership between the college and the Builders Association provides a great opportunity for people wanting to learn a craft trade. Students earn a paycheck working for a BANCF member, and on top of that the employers pay the students' tuition. This program plays a crucial role in our local development. These fine graduates will go on to be great assets to their company or possibly their own. These graduates will now pass on what they have learned to new employees, and continue to build a strong work force in our area. Let's congratulate this year's class, and tomorrow's future.
Congratulations 2012 Graduates
