End-of-Year Reception

The Pathways to Persistence Scholars End-of-Year Reception will feature a host of speakers who will address the audience on topics of leadership, success, and life focus. The reception will feature keynote speaker Sol Bleiweis, a holocaust survivor of Auschwitz. Mr. Bleiweis will share his powerful testimony of survival and how he learned that persisting through hardship is critical to success and survival.
This is a catered event and will feature a live piano and violin performance in the auditorium. The event is open to the public to hear the incredible life story of Mr. Bleiweis who has met Oscar Schindler and maintained his hope in the midst of death. The mission of the Pathways to Persistence Scholars Program is to accelerate the progress of GED completers into the mainstream of leadership in business, education, government and a wide spectrum of professions, while instilling a strong dedication to leadership and public service. The purpose of this function is to acknowledge the first-year scholars and welcome the new Pathways Scholars as valued members of Santa Fe College as they begin their summer enrollment.
