HARDEN NAMED NJCAA HONORABLE MENTION ALL-AMERICAN
Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe sophomore guard Kevin Harden was recently honored by the National Junior College Athletics Association as an Honorable Mention All-American for his efforts during the 2011-12 season.
Harden, a 6'2" guard, averaged a team high 13.7 points per game and a team best 6.2 rebounds per game in 2011-12. His ability to get to the hoop, rebound and shoot from the outside has many NCAA Division I schools fighting for his services next season. Harden is currently taking visits and is narrowing down his choices.
"This is a great accomplishment for Kevin," said SF coach Chris Mowry. "He had an outstanding season for us, and he will be a super player at the NCAA I level. Kevin has been a very hard worker on and off the court, and we look forward to following his career in the future."
