Grand Opening

The Harn Museum of Art's David A. Cofrin Asian Art Wing opens to the public, Saturday, March 31. View seven exhibitions with more than 400 works covering three millennia of art from across all of Asia.

The ribbon cutting will be at 10:30 a.m. revealing the seven new installations and Asian-inspired gardens in the new wing.

Activities planned throughout the day include tours, a gallery talk by Cofrin Curator of Asian Art Jason Steuber and Curatorial Associate of Asian Art Allysa Browne Peyton at 3 p.m., a bonsai display by the Bonsai Society, children's yoga classes, karate demonstrations and Chinese calligraphy demonstration.
