High School Seniors Invited to 'Senior Night'

March 19, 2012

Senior Night, an annual event at Santa Fe College, gives area high school seniors - and their families - an opportunity to learn about classes offered and the services that keep students in college.

Senior Night is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 19 in the Fine Arts Hall at the Northwest campus, 3000 NW 83rd St. (32606). Last year, approximately 145 students from Alachua and Bradford counties attended this free event.

"Senior Night is a great chance for students and their parents to get a 'feel' for the college," said event coordinator Stacey Ledvina. "Everyone you need to talk to is in one place, so it's efficient, and you get to tour campus and check out our facilities and programs."

After refreshments and check-in at 6 p.m., there will be a brief program, and then visitors will have the opportunity to tour the different areas. Advisors from AA Academic Advisement, Health Sciences, Business Programs, the Gator Den, BioMed Technologies, and Construction and Technical programs, just to name a few, will be on hand to answer questions."
