Congratulations to Coach Chris Mowry and the Men's Basketball team on their FCSAA Final Four appearance. The team concluded the season with a 26-5 record and finished ranked #4 in the state and #10 in the nation. Individually, Santa Fe sophomore guard Kevin Harden led a group of six Saints players honored by the Florida College System Activities Association and the Mid-Florida Conference.
For his efforts this season, Harden was named the MFC Player of the Year, First Team All FCSAA and First Team All MFC. He averaged a team high 13.3 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game and nearly three assists per game. In conference games he upped his play, scoring 15.8 ppg with 6.4 rpg.
Joining Harden on the MFC First Team are forward Matt Conway and point guard Brian Holmes. Conway averaged 10 ppg, 4.9 rpg and shot 43% from the three point line. Holmes scored 12.3 ppp and averaged 3.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game.
