- Membership drive: The Santa Fe AFC Chapter is working hard to increase AFC membership. Please welcome some new members: George Mazzeo, Loretta Bainbridge, Wade Huggins, Joe Jester, Mark Kanzler, Priscilla Fort, CJ Fort, Katherine Krause, Glen Gold, Eileen Monck, Andrea Perini, Ed Book, and Roddey Williams.
- C-SPAN Bus Tour: Never missing an opportunity to be political, the SF AFC Chapter helped to welcome the C-SPAN bus on its "Road to the White House" Tour. We served apple pie and conducted political awareness quizzes. See the pictures.
- Thirty-five members attended the first AFC member meeting for this year on Feb. 7. It was a great meeting with excellent ideas from the members about activities for the upcoming year.
- Tom Mason, Debi McElroy and Debbie Kennedy attended the Leadership Conference in Howey-in-the Hills. Focus was on servant leadership. There was lots of valuable information that we will be incorporating into our chapter this year.
- Carnation Sale: For the last couple of days the SF AFC Chapter has been up their eyeballs in flowers. We packaged and delivered hundreds of flowers to SF employees and sold many more on Valentine's Day at stations outside P building and the Food Court. Thank you for your participation and help – we couldn't have done it without you!
- AFC offers a Certified College Professional Program. Contact Debbie Kennedy for applications.
- Check out the AFC Perception to see our Legislative updates.
- Next meeting will be Tuesday, March 20 in R01 at noon – more to come!
