Guest Lecturer: UF Law Professor Dr. Winston Nagan, Jan. 26

Global Society and the Florida Chapter of the United Nations Association are hosting a lecture by Dr. Winston Nagan: "United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: A Proposal for the Local Government to Pass a Resolution for the Promotion and Protection of Children's Rights." The event starts at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 in WA-104.
Dr. Nagan, Professor at the University of Florida's Levin College of Law, is an expert in international law, international courts, and international human rights. He directs UF's Institute for Human Rights and Peace Development and is an acting judge at the High Court of the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa.
