SAINTS HOST RIVALS CENTRAL FLORIDA ON "DR. PORTIA TAYLOR NIGHT"

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints will welcome the College of Central Florida to Gainesville on Wednesday, January 25 for a Mid-Florida Conference doubleheader scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM. Both games can be watched live on www.psblive.com and the men's game can be heard on AM850 WRUF starting at 7:45 PM.

Over the course of the evening, the SF Athletics Department will honor longtime Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Portia Taylor for her many contributions to Santa Fe over her nearly 36 years at the college. All SF faculty and staff are invited to attend and recognize the exceptional career of Dr. Taylor.

The women open things up against the Patriots at 6:00 PM and are looking to get back on track after a three game losing streak. The Saints (7-15, 1-3 MFC) lone conference win came against CCF on January 7 in Ocala.

The men bring a three game winning streak into their matchup with Central Florida at 8:00 PM. The FCSAA #7 Saints (17-3, 3-1 MFC) only MFC loss so far this year came at the hands of the Patriots on January 7 in Ocala.

All Student Organizations are also invited out to the games. The three organizations with the most members attending will win money for their club courtesy of Student Life.
