SAINTS HANDLE TAMPA SWISH 89-64 AT POLK CLASSIC
Winter Haven, FL – Altavious Carter and Josh Wiseman combined for nine three pointers on Sunday afternoon against the Tampa Swish, leading the FCSAA #5 Santa Fe Saints to an impressive 25 point victory and a 12-2 record.
Carter started things early for SF, nailing three straight three’s to put the Saints ahead in the opening minutes and Josh Wiseman hit 6-of-7 from there to stretch the lead out and seal the win.
Wiseman finished with 22 points on the afternoon on 8-of-9 shooting, Keshaun Hamilton scored 15, Kevin Harden had 14 points and six rebounds and Carter finished with nine.
The Saints shot a blistering 53.5% (38-for-71) from the field and 50% (11-for-22) from the three point line while holding the Swish to 40% shooting.
Santa Fe will take two weeks off before returning to action against the State College of Florida on December 31 in Bradenton.
