Tickets for all Santa Fe Fine Arts Hall performances are $15 for the main floor, $12 for the balcony, $9 for seniors, UF students with ID, and children under 12. Santa Fe faculty, staff, and students are free with ID. Tickets are available online at www.sfcollege.edu/finearts. If you are getting a free ticket with your ID, you must pick it up at the Santa Fe Box Office, which is open 2 hours before the performance. Performances in E Auditorium and all opening receptions for art shows are FREE.
Percussion Collective , 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7 in the E Auditorium
Get into the holiday beat with the Percussion Collective, under the direction of Dr. Brian Holder. This concert features works by a percussion ensemble and student soloists, and is free for all.
An Evening of Jazz, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, in the Fine Arts Hall
Directed by Dr. Steve Bingham, "An Evening of Jazz" features the Santa Fe Big Band, Jazz Combo, and Rhythm & Blues. The show begins with the energetic Rhythm & Blues Band performing tunes from "Motown Sound" and other artists from the '60s and '70s. The Jazz Combo features vocals, a small front line, and rhythm section performing more traditional, intimate jazz arrangements. The Big Band brings the power of a full-sized, traditional 20- piece jazz orchestra that has a rich performance history, including appearances at the Lakeside Jazz Festival, Universal Studios City Walk Stage, and a performance at Carnegie Hall.
Fabric Art & Holiday Trees Exhibit, Nov. 18 – Dec.15; Reception, Dec. 7
Visit the Fabric Art & Holiday Trees Exhibit featuring Stephanie Metts and Friends of the Suwannee Valley Quilt Shoppe, Nov. 18 – Dec. 15 in the President's Hall Art Gallery. The SLA sponsored holiday trees create a festive environment for the holiday exhibit.
A holiday reception, with refreshments, will be held at 3 p.m. on Dec. 7 in the President's Hall Art Gallery. Master quilters will be in attendance to answer questions. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public. Gallery Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., weekdays, with the exception of college holidays.
Visual Arts Faculty Show Opening Mixer, 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in the Santa Fe Gallery, M-147
There will be live entertainment and refreshments catered by Blue Water Bay at this exhibit's opening mixer Nov. 18. Over 60 new works by SF faculty, including Valerie Aslakson-Jennings (mixed media and oils on metal), Stacey Breheny (oil paintings), Peter Carolin (paintings), Dale Gunnoe (photography), Ray "Shooter" Hale (photography), S. Blake Harrison (acrylic paintings), Robert Malinowski (acrylic paintings, mixed media, silkscreen), Kate Shakeshaft Murray (ceramics), Matthew Newell (drawings, drypoint), Matt Shaffer (stoneware, acrylic painting), Daniel Stepp (drawings, paintings), Patricia Telesco (jewelry, sculpture), and Christine Deng-Thompson (acrylic diptych). The exhibit will be up through Jan. 19. Gallery hours are noon-4 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of college holidays.
Stellar Madrigals, 5:30, 7 and 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21 in the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium
"Stellar Madrigals," directed by Lynn Sandefur, is a rare combination of art and science as the SF Madrigal Singers perform songs from the Renaissance era, while the planetarium illuminates stellar imagery above. The Madrigal Singers of Santa Fe present a full hour of entertaining madrigal songs, glees and catches, from classical to contemporary composers.
Santa Fe Music Ensemble Recital, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 in the Fine Arts Hall
The Santa Fe music program is proud to present "Spotlight on Chamber Music," featuring several collaborations between woodwind, brass, and percussion students. The intimacy of chamber music will highlight our wonderful student performers and also showcase the diverse capabilities of our new campus performance area.
A Children's Holiday, 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 in the Fine Arts Hall
Bring the family to visit Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus as a bevy of elves entertain and interact with the audience. Costumed storytellers will perform an updated, humorous version of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" on stage. The climax of this holiday showcase of Santa Fe talent is "Carol to the King," a glorious processional of dancers, choir, and band. After the performances, kids can enjoy holiday craft-making and meet some of the characters from the show.
Santa Fe Winds Holiday Concert, 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5
The event begins 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5 in the E building Auditorium. This concert is free, so come enjoy it! Musicians United and Santa Fe's Music Club will also host a bake sale to raise funds for their annual spring recruitment trip.

Holiday Reception, 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 in the President's Hall Gallery
The President's Hall Art Gallery has a reception planned for 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 to honor Stephanie Metts and Friends of the Suwannee Valley Quilt Shoppe. The student club-sponsored holiday trees will serve as the background for the holiday quilts. Holiday treats will be served. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
Singing into the Holidays, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, in the Fine Arts Hall
Under the direction of Lynn Sandefur, the Santa Fe Singers create an evening of memorable holiday music certain to delight all ages. Come join in on the holiday joy. Holiday favorites include "Carol of the Bells," sung in different styles, as well as children's songs such as "Believe" from The Polar Express and "Christmastime Is Here" from the Peanuts Holiday Special. Under the direction of SF Faculty member Dr. Brian Holder, this concert also features a variety of percussion sounds and rhythm, and is sure to become a family holiday tradition.
Sleeping Beauty and the Saving Prince, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, in the Fine Arts Hall
With a passion for dance and a heart for worship, Doxa Dance Company presents a classic tale of unconditional love. DDC's premiere production of Sleeping Beauty and the Saving Prince is sure to delight children and adults, alike.
