All American Liberty Fest, Nov. 6
November 3, 2011
The All American Liberty Fest is a patriotic family event in celebration of Veterans' Day from 1-6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6 at the flag pole (on the south side of the Santa Fe College campus, at the intersection of South Road and 83rd Street).
The festivities include fun-filled motorcycle and car shows, races, children's activities, food, live music, and much more! There will be static displays by Alachua County Sheriff's Department, Florida National Guard, and the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo. Also, veterans will have available to them a one-stop experience with VA healthcare and Florida Works Employment Services onsite.
Everyone in the community is invited to this free event to 'welcome home' our veterans and thank the ones we already have. The All American Liberty Fest is sure to be a great way to cap the University of Florida Homecoming events. Save the date!
Our Honorary Co-Chair for the All American Liberty Fest is Major General David E. Kratzer, the associate vice president for student affairs at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
