Baseball Earns Two Wins in Winter Haven

SAINTS DEFEAT STATE COLLEGE OF FLORIDA AND SOUTH FLORIDA CC

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints won two Fall Ball games on Sunday afternoon at Chain of Lakes Complex in Winter Haven, taking the first 7-4 against State College of Florida-Manatee and the second a 14-1 victory over South Florida CC.

The SF pitching staff combined to walk only two batters over 14 innings. Ryan Yarbrough picked up the win in game one and Lawrence Pardo earned the win in game two.

After their 7-4 win over SCF, the Saints exploded for 16 hits in game two, including two homeruns by Graham Ramos and another HR by former Buchholz Bobcat Graham Cason.

The Saints return home on September 30 when they host the St. Petersburg College Titans in a double header scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM.
