FUTURE SAINT KIMBERLY BOOKER DISPLAYS TALENTS AT FACA ALL-STAR GAME
Gainesville, FL – Kimberly Booker, a multi-talented senior softball player at 2011 FHSAA 5A State runners-up Bartow High School and 2011-12 Santa Fe College signee, recently displayed her abilities at the Florida Athletics Coaches Association All-Star game on May 20 and 21.
A multi-faceted player, Booker played first base, right field and catcher during the All-Star weekend. Santa Fe coach Chris Ahern expects her to primarily settle in at one position once the “Fall Ball” season starts later this year.
“Kimberly is an extremely talented player and we expect that she will step right in and see a lot of action behind the plate at catcher for us this year,” said Ahern. “She will also give us a good power bat in the middle of the lineup. We look forward to Kimberly joining our Santa Fe family and helping us continue our tradition of success the next two years.”
