SAINTS STRUGGLE IN 12-3 LOSS TO INDIAN RIVER, BATTLE DAYTONA ON SATURDAY

Pensacola, FL – Indian River State College showed why they're the #1 ranked team in the state on Friday evening, defeating the Saints in convincing fashion 12-3.

The Pioneers jumped out to an early 6-0 lead before SF could record a single out. Starting pitcher Colesa Lazar surrendered six runs before being relieved by Jasmine Warren. Warren gave up three over six innings and Stephanie Cameron gave up three in one inning of work. SF managed three runs late in the game.

Santa Fe (44-11) will look to bounce back on Saturday, April 30 when they take on Daytona State College at 12:00 PM CST (1:00 PM EST) in an elimination game. The Saints swept the season series from the Falcons 4-0
