SAINTS TAKE OVER #1 RANKING IN THE FCCAA STATE POLL
Gainesville, FL – A strong start to the season has led the Santa Fe Saints to the #1 ranking in the FCCAA state poll. SF jumped one spot from last week's poll, taking over the top spot from Palm Beach State.
Santa Fe is currently 14-3-1 and is riding a five game winning streak. Saints first baseman Andrew Grifol leads the nation in RBI with 25 in just 43 at bats. Catcher Tim Remes and OF Jay Laurienzo are tied for second in the nation with four homeruns each.
SF is tied for sixth in the country in team batting average at .338, leads the nation in hits with 206 and leads the nation with 14 wins.
