Bandy's 3-for-3 Day Leads SF to 11-10 Win Over PHCC

SANTA FE OUT HITS PASCO HERNANDO FOR 11-10 WIN
New Port Richey, FL – Nathan Bandy picked a great time to have his best game as a collegian, going 3-for-3 with his first career homerun, a double and two RBI to lead Santa Fe to an 11-10 victory over Pasco Hernando CC. The win is the fifth in a row for SF.
Kyle Rowe started the game on the mound and pitched three shutout innings. Ryan Yarbrough, Steven Ragans and Antwan Brown combined to give up 10 runs and Kentrail Pierce pitched 1.2 scoreless innings to pick up the win.
Santa Fe (14-3-1) trailed 7-5 going into the sixth inning but scored two to tie the game. Both teams scored 3 in the eighth. SF's three came on a Bandy single to start the inning, Austin Lawrence reached on an error, Drew Doty singled, Andrew Grifol singled home a run, Tim Remes was walked with the bases loaded and Trey Griffin knocked in the third run with a sacrifice fly.
With the score tied in the ninth, Bandy struck again, doubling for the first base runner of the inning. Two batters later, Andrew Grifol singled home the go ahead and eventual winning run.
Bandy finished 3-for-3 with a double, homerun and two RBI hitting ninth in the lineup, Drew Doty finished 3-for-5 with two RBI, Grifol was 2-for-5 with three RBI, Remes was 2-for-4 with two RBI and Jake Huxtable finished 2-for-5.
Andrew Grifol now has a nine game hitting streak and has gone 18-for-34 over that stretch. His 25 RBI leads the nation.
