SAINTS TRAVEL TO DAYTONA FOR MFC TOURNAMENT; WATCH LIVE ON PSBLIVE.COM
Gainesville, FL – The Saints march to the FCCAA State Tournament starts tonight, February 21 when they travel to Daytona State College for a first round match-up with the Falcons at 7:00 PM. The winning team will face off against St. John's River State College on Tuesday, February 22 at 7:00 PM in Palatka. The winner of that game will claim the MFC #2 seed in the State Tournament. Both games can be watched live on www.psblive.com.
Santa Fe (18-12, 5-7 MFC) took two of three from Daytona (15-14, 6-6 MFC) during the regular season. The Falcons claimed the final match-up in Gainesville on February 5 with a last second buzzer beater to pull out a 63-62 win. Both SF wins came at Daytona. The first was 64-58 on January 8 and the second came on January 22, 55-51.
The FCCAA State Tournament takes place at Chipola College in Marianna, FL from March 2-5.
