Applications Now Being Accepted for the 2011 Hall of Fame

February 7, 2011

Applications are now being accepted for the 2011 Santa Fe College Hall of Fame, the highest honor bestowed upon Santa Fe students. The Hall of Fame is reserved for those students who have shown truly superior leadership and achievement through their activities and scholarship while members of the Santa Fe community. Because of their involvement as student leaders, it is clear to all who encounter them that they are set apart from other outstanding students as especially deserving of the unique honor. The Hall of Fame is limited to 1/10 of 1 percent of Santa Fe students in a given year.

Successful applicants will have demonstrated success in the classroom and shown a commitment to better the college and the community at large. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA and demonstrate specific examples of their service to the college and the community. 2011 Hall of Fame inductees must be receiving a degree or certificate from Santa Fe College during 2011.

Applications may be found at the Center for Student Leadership & Activities (S-147) and the Student Life website: www.sfcollege.edu/StudentLife.

Completed applications and the accompanying paperwork are due to the Center for Student Leadership & Activities (S-147) by Friday, Feb. 25.

Questions about the selection process should be directed to Dr. Angela Long, Coordinator of Student Leadership & Activities, 381-3788.
