SAINTS WIN ANOTHER ROAD GAME OVER DSC, 55-51

Daytona, FL – The Santa Fe Saints (16-7, 3-2 MFC) bounced back from a loss at home on Wednesday night at the hands of St. John's River to defeat Daytona State College for the second time this season. Both wins against the Falcons have come on the road. SF is now 3-0 on the road in conference play and 0-2 at home.

The Saints led 34-36 at the half, but a rally by DSC in the second period, punctuated by several missed Santa Fe layups, put the Falcons up 48-46 with nine minutes left in the game. From there, Daytona would score just three more points and the Saints only nine, but it was enough to hang on for the important conference victory.

All nine players that dressed for Santa Fe scored. Brenton Williams led the way scoring 13 points off the bench. The Saints leading scorer on the season, Chad Renfro, pitched in 10 points, Eddie D'Haiti had 10 points and eight rebounds and Branimir Mikulic scored seven points with five rebounds.

Chris Mowry and the Saints travel to College of Central Florida on Monday for a game against the Patriots at 8:00pm. CCF defeated Santa Fe in the first MFC game of the season in Gainesville, 82-78. The Patriots are currently first place in the MFC.
