SAINTS CONTINUE HOT STREAK WITH WIN OVER AIKEN TECH, 72-64

Winter Haven, FL – The FCCAA #7 Santa Fe Saints won their third game in a row overall and second this season over Aiken Tech on Saturday afternoon at the Polk Classic, moving their record to 12-4 on the season. SF defeated Aiken in their first game of the season, 70-62 in Gainesville.

Chad Renfro again sparked the Saints, scoring 19 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the three point line, a game after going for 24 on six three pointers against Brevard on December 15.

Santa Fe led 38-34 at the half and won despite shooting on 38% from the field, making up for it from the free throw line where they outscored Aiken 21-4.
Jerome Clyburn scored in double figures with 11 points and four assists, Marko Djekovic had 10 points and Eddie D'Haiti had eight points and eight rebounds.

The Saints continue in the Polk Classic on Sunday at 1:00pm when they take on Wake Tech.
