SAINTS CRUISE PAST CENTRAL GEORGIA TECH, 94-35
Daytona, FL – Five players scored in double figures on Friday night, as the Santa Fe Saints cruised past Central Georgia Tech, 94-35, evening their record at 7-7. The Saints led 41-16 at the half.
Jazmyne Green led the way on offense, scoring 22 points to go with six rebounds. Kindsay Brandt, SF's leading scorer, put in 17 points, Stephenie Coney had 15 points, seven assists and eight assists, Jasmine Blakemore had 11 points and Demisha Mills 10. The Saints were also solid on defense as Stephanie Edwards racked up a season high eight steals and Jasmine Richardson pulled down 14 boards.
Santa Fe continues at the Daytona State College Holiday Tournament tomorrow against Broward College at 12:00pm. Broward defeated the Saints earlier in the season, 64-59
