Volunteer Appreciation Day, Apr. 22
October 27, 2010
Do you know anybody, including yourself, who is consistently giving back to their community, on or off campus? Do you think they should be recognized for their accomplishments?
Then, please, don’t hesitate to nominate them for our Volunteer Appreciation Day luncheon!
Simply write a short 300-500 word essay addressing what service means to the nominee (yourself and/or someone else), why you feel civic engagement is important, how you are involved and helping to better the community, and what you can do in the future to continue to engage in service! Send your essay to Samantha Rist by April 15.
Fifteen students will be selected to attend the luncheon at 11 a.m., April 22 in S-327, where their achievements will be acknowledged with prizes and delicious food!
