SpacePark 360 Debuts at Santa Fe College's Planetarium Oct. 9

October 1, 2010

Imagine the nine most popular amusement park rides, but instead of riding them here on Earth, you're riding them on the other planets in our solar system!

The Kika Silva Pla Planetarium at Santa Fe College is proud to announce the arrival of our newest planetarium show, “SpacePark 360,” a 38-minute, full-dome feature presented by Dome3D LLC and Lochness Productions.

See a trailer for the show at this YouTube link.

The team at Dome3D took the most popular amusement park rides, converted them into a 360-degree computer animation, and placed one of them on each of the planets (and some moons) in our solar system!

In addition, while you're ‘riding', you'll experience an ‘out of this world' musical score made specifically for SpacePark 360 by Geodesium (at Lochness Productions); so each ride has its own unique soundtrack.

So what you get is a totally thrilling ride, in an exotic destination, with totally awesome music, for one immersive experience!

The show will debut at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. Additional show times are available on the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium website:
