KEEPING UP WITH BASEBALL AT THE STATE TOURNAMENT

Gainesville, FL – The defending State Champion, National Runner-up and back-to-back Mid-Florida Conference champion Santa Fe Saints are headed to the FCCAA/NJCAA Region VIII State Tournament on May 6-10 and it's easy to keep up with all the action as it happens in Lakeland.

The NJCAA #17/FCCAA #4 Saints play NJCAA #23/FCCAA #6 Miami Dade College on Thursday, May 6 at 7:00pm in the first round of the tournament and win or lose play a second round game on Friday at a time TBD.  MFC #1 seed Santa Fe and Southern Conference #2 seed MDC were scheduled to meet during the regular season in Gainesville, but were rained out.

Every game of the tournament will be broadcast live on streaming video at www.psblive.com (Windows Media Player is required to view the games).  The 7:00pm Saints' games on Thursday, May 6 will also be broadcast live on 95.7 FM Gainesville, with Mike Ridaught and Marty Pallman doing play-by-play.

For the fans attending the tournament, all games will be played at Joker Marchant Stadium (Tiger Town).  The address for the stadium is 2125 North Lake Drive, Lakeland, FL 33805.  The stadium features a full ballpark menu, no outside food or drinks are allowed in the complex.  Parking is free.  Tiger Town website – http://detroit.tigers.mlb.com/spring_training/ballpark.jsp?c_id=det

Admission to the tournament is $25 for a five day pass, $10 for an individual day pass and $5 for the championship game on Monday.
