Douglas, GA – The FCCAA #2/NJCAA #25 Santa Fe Saints (2-1) traveled to Georgia on Sunday afternoon and split a double header with South Georgia College, losing the first seven inning game 4-2 and winning game two, also seven innings, 4-0.

Morgan McKinney (1-0) stifled South Georgia in the second game, pitching five shutout inning, allowing only one hit to go with seven strikeouts. Kevin Welborn and Corey Turner each pitched a scoreless inning in relief.
Austin Lawrence got the scoring going for SF in the second inning when he knocked in Ricky Claudio, who had doubled, with an RBI single. In the third, TJ Spina led things off with a single and stole second. Moyer followed with a single to give the Saints a two run lead.
Mike Miranda provided some insurance runs in the sixth when he hit a two run homerun, his second of the year, scoring Joe Clouse. Miranda now has six RBI in three games.
Clouse was 2-for-4 in game two and Spina, Moyer, Miranda, Claudio and Miranda had one hit a piece.
