SANTA FE LOSES CLOSE GAME TO PALM BEACH, 78-75
Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints (14-7, 3-0 MFC) dropped their second non-conference road game in a row on Saturday, falling to Palm Beach CC 78-75. The Saints were without sophomore guard Tracie Sneed for most of the game after the exited the contest with an injury ten minutes into the action.
The Saints held a slight halftime lead, 40-39 but were unable to hang on down the stretch as Palm Beach pulled out the victory by four.
Lanita Bartley led Santa Fe in scoring with 15 points, Demisha Mills had 13, Letiecia Davenport scored 12 and India Johnson had 10.
SF will get back to Mid-Florida Conference play on Saturday, January 23 when they host Daytona State College at 2:00pm
