DAVENPORT SIGNS WITH GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY

Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe sophomore forward Letiecia Davenport has made her decision on where she will spend the next two years playing Division I college basketball. Davenport signed her letter of intent on Tuesday with Georgia State University (Atlanta, GA) and will join fellow Saint Tracie Sneed who inked with the Panthers last week.

GSU is led by 16 year head coach Lea Henry and went 12-18 overall last year and 4-14 in the Colonial Athletic Conference.

Last season for the Saints, Davenport was third on the team in scoring with 10.9 points per game and led SFC in rebounding with 7.1 rpg. This season she is scoring 8.2 points per game and pulling down 3.8 rebounds per game through five contests.
