Harn Museum's Susan Cooksey to Discuss African Art on Campus Dec. 1

November 19, 2009

Bobby Hom, Professor of Interdisciplinary Humanities and especially African Humanities (HUM 2420; P-263) has arranged for Susan Cooksey, the Curator of African Art at UF's Harn Museum, to visit his African Humanities class on Tuesday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

On behalf of Susan Cooksey and his students he is happy to invite faculty and students from around the campus to attend his class at that time to learn more about being a museum curator and about African art.

This event is the result of the Harn's generous contribution of an African elephant mask on the Africa day at the World Humanities Expo held Nov. 16-20.
